Terms of Service

Short terms for a personal site.

This is the personal portfolio of Joe Poznanski. It is published by one individual, not a company, and these terms are deliberately brief.

Last updated: August 23, 2026

What this site is

Joe Poznanski publishes this site to describe his professional work. It is informational. Nothing here is an offer, a contract, or engineering, legal, or financial advice, and case studies describe past work rather than a promise of future results.

There are no user accounts, no payments, no subscriptions, and no way to submit content to the site. Reaching out is done through the channels listed on the contact page.

Provided as-is

The site and everything on it is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Joe Poznanski does not guarantee that the site will be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate at any given moment, and may change, move, or remove any part of it without notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Joe Poznanski is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of this site or reliance on its contents.

Content and attribution

The writing, case studies, diagrams, and images on this site are the author's own work and remain his. You are welcome to read it, link to it, and quote a reasonable excerpt with attribution and a link back. Republishing pages wholesale, or presenting this work as your own, is not permitted.

Source code published under an explicit open-source licence — for example in the linked GitHubrepositories — is governed by that licence, not by this page.

Reasonable use

Normal reading, linking, and well-behaved indexing are fine. Please do not run automated crawling that ignoresrobots.txt, hammers the site with request volumes a human could not generate, attempts to break or probe it, or uses it to distribute malware or spam. If a crawler causes problems it may be rate-limited or blocked by the host.

Links to other sites

This site links out to third-party pages such as LinkedIn, GitHub, and referenced articles. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and Joe Poznanski does not control them or take responsibility for their content.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the site changes. The revision date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update, and continued use of the site after a change means the current version applies.

Questions

Questions about these terms go through thecontact page, which lists the current direct channels. The related privacy policy covers what this site does and does not collect.
